Feature Holistic Artist for April: Jennifer Roy Pranic Healing & P.R.

Jennifer Roy began her career as an assignment editor and Health Watch Reporter at Ch. 3 news in Worcester. She eventually worked her way up to broadcast journalist and news anchor learning production, film, editing, and perfecting her writing and interpersonal skills along the way. During her time at Ch 3, Jennifer took a hiatus from the news industry and moved to New York City where she served as assistant to music mogul Sheldon Schultz, agent for James Taylor and Linda Ronstadt. While in New York, Jennifer also stumbled upon Pranic Healing and was blessed to study under the founder of Modern Pranic Healing, Grand Master Choa Kok Sui. In addition to completing classes in Basic and Advanced Healing, Crystal Healing, Pranic Psychotherapy, Pranic Self-Defense, and higher learning classes like Kriyashakti and Pranic Feng Shui, Jennifer has completed Pranic meditation courses including the following levels: Pre Arhatic Yoga and Levels 1 and 2. Jennifer
eventually moved back to Worcester and after spending a few more years at Ch 3, decided to expand her professional goals taking a position as Sr. Communications Consultant at Unum. There she created the company's largest community relations initiative, reaching out to underserved students at South High Community School. While at Unum, Jennifer lead dozens of volunteer initiatives and served on various boards through the city promoting issues like poverty alleviation and gender equality. Outside of work, Jennifer has raised nearly $100,000 for pancreatic cancer treatment and research at Umass Memorial Medical Center through her event called Karaoke for a Cure. She also founded the Young Professional Women's Association, a non-profit that serves as a platform for young women interested in economic growth, local politics, and other issues in Central MA. In her free time, Jennifer holds free meditation classes at local businesses. Jennifer is a Level
2 Reiki Practitioner. She is also a trained classical vocalist and has become enthusiastic about keeping fit. Jennifer has recently started a PR business called Jen Roy PR where she will focus on event planning and publicity while promoting social consciousness. Jennifer resides in Worcester.
